Signature Mandarin Immersion Summer Camp 2025

When? The camp will be held in 10 weekly sessions between June 2 – August 8.

  • Session 1: June 2-June 6

  • Session 2: June 9 — June 13

  • Session 3: June 16— June 20

  • Session 4: June 23 — June 27

  • Session 5: June 30—July 3 (No Class on July 4)

  • Session 6: July 7— July 11

  • Session 7: July 14— July 18

  • Session 8: July 21—July 25

  • Session 9: July 28— Aug 1

  • Session 10: Aug 4— Aug 8

Sessions vary in length, so there’s plenty of room for flexibility. Pick a favorite, or mix-and-match for the ultimate summer! 

Who Is It For? Children who are interested in learning Mandarin language skills through fun, immersion-based activities. No prior Mandarin skills are needed.

School-Age Mandarin Immersion Camp: Ages 5-11

There may be opportunities to interact with students from China online as part of a mutual cultural exchange. We look forward to have a fun, enriching and extraordinary summer with your child.

Camp Fee

Half Day AM Option: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Half Day PM Option: 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Half Day Camp Fee: $260 per session, including nut-free snack

Full Day Option: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. 

Full Day Camp Fee: $350 per session, including nut-free snack (Students need to bring nut-free lunch)

Extended Care Fee

$60 per week (8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.)

$85 per week (3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

session 1 & 2

Session 1 (6/2-6/6) and Session 2 (6/9-6/13)

Feeding the World

In this two-week session students learn about the kinds of food that are grown and eaten in various parts of the world, and what countries are doing to address waste and world hunger. We learn about making healthy food choices and make recipes from around the world. The first week is focused on food growth with the second week on the consumption and distribution of food around the world.

session 3 & 4

Session 3 (6/16-6/20) and Session 4 (6/23-6/27)

Endangered Species

In this two-week session students learn about several endangered species around the world, why they became endangered and what can be done to address the issue. During this study students will learn about the habitats in various countries, whether climate change has affected the species and understand different perspectives on the issues.

Session 5 & 6

Session 5 (6/30-7/3) and Session 6 (7/7-7/11)

Flying Over Rome

In this two-week session, students will have an opportunity to be on a journey through Rome, from its most famous landmarks to its best kept secrets.

Students will learn the Italian language, and learn about the historical and cultural heritage of Rome. Each day will be loaded with adventure and discovery of past piazzas, oculus of the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and local street food in Testaccio.

Session 7 (7/14-7/18) and Session 6 (7/21-7/25)

The Wonder of Water

In this two-week session students enjoy experiencing the physical and chemical properties of water through hands on experiments and observation in the first week. They learn about the significant role water plays in our everyday life, the ecosystem of the world, and how it has impacted civilizations over time in the second week. We’ll also have fun playing in the water to cool off during those hot summer days!

session 9 & 10

Session 9 (7/28-8/1) and Session 10 (8/4-8/8)

Shenzhen/Yiwu 城市印象-深圳/义乌

Shenzhen, located in the south of China, is home to some of the most modern buildings worldwide. One of the most attractions is Window of the World, which offer s replicas of the Eiffel tower, the Pyramids, and Taj Mahal. 

Yiwu is located in the central part of Zhejiang Province. It’s known as world's largest wholesale market of small commodities.

Campers will learn about these two cities through their traditional culture, along with the diet, lifestyle, architecture, commerce, music, art, etc through many fun and engaged activities.
