Chongqing/ Qing Dao 城市印象-重庆/青岛

Chongqing, meaning “double celebrations” in Chinese, is located in the southwest of the mainland, China, along the Yangtze River. Known as one of China’s “Three Furnaces” (along with Wuhan and Nanjing), Chongqing is unbearably hot during summer. The surrounding mountain seem to trap the heat. Chongqing is also known as “Fog City”.

Qingdao is a city on the west shore of the Pacific Ocean, lying on the southern coast of China’s Shandong Peninsula. Qingdao has been selected as one of the “Culture Cities of East Asia”. Qingdao has long been reputed as a favored location for the filming of movies and television series and a “City of Music”.

Campers will learn about the “Fog city” and the “City of Music” through their traditional culture, along with the diet, lifestyle, architecture, commerce, music, art, etc through many fun and engaged activities.
